Guerilla Gourmet is a catering company offering truly amazing cuisine anywhere your event may be. Everything is hand-made from hand-picked produce by professional chefs who want every one of your guests to be happy and remember the fantastic food at your event. We don’t over-book our calendar and spread ourselves thin. We don’t aim for ‘satisfied’ customers, we aim for 100% of our clients and guests to be blown away.
Weddings

The daintiest of canapés, a slap up wedding breakfast and evening buffet that is straight out of a Babylonian feast, extraordinary entertainment and decor – whatever you can picture as your perfect wedding day, the experience of Guerilla Gourmet is intended to exceed those expectations. Everyone we feed will be talking about your wedding food for the rest of the year. If you have ideas we will embrace them. If you need ideas, we can feed your imagination with options for every step of the way.
Whether your wedding reception is in a field or a stately home, we provide exceptional cuisine created by our professional chefs – some of whom are straight out of Michelin star kitchens. Menus are created on consultation including the selection of crockery, linen, tableware and any extras that you need. All delivered, setup and taken away at the end for your convenience. You can include as little or as many optional extras as you like, so any budget is catered for.

Professional Staff
World class food deserves world class people to create, demonstrate and deliver it. Aside from being effortlessly good at their jobs, our staff are some of the nicest people you would care to meet. Our staff share a mutual love of great food and wine and of course a fantastic party (you’re in good hands!).
Suppliers
Through the years we have tried and tested many different suppliers of fine ingredients to create our dishes. Now we think we have found the best for everything we do. We are always keeping an eye on sustainability, organics, fair trade, freshness of course and general all round good karma producers. We are constantly researching the local food heroes of the UK and use them whenever we do national tours or events in different parts of the country. Because our chefs, consultants and partners are from such varied culinary and geographical backgrounds we manage to find the best kept secrets all over the UK. We currently want to keep our cards very close to our chest until the Guerilla Gourmet blog is launched, at which point, over time the sources of our magnificent fish, meat, cheese, wine and all other amazing morsels, including recipes and tips will be revealed to our most avid foodie followers.
Food Menus
We say ‘bespoke’ catering, because we pride ourselves on our diversity. The experience of cooking for people from all over the world, with all kinds of dietary requirements means that we can tailor a menu to suit your specific needs.
Ethos
Our overall business ethic is to provide a hassle free, high quality catering solution to our clients, many of whom are very high profile. So we only use discreet and reliable staff with a grown up attitude. We see ourselves as an asset to your production whether it is about providing light, energy generating dishes on time to keep productivity to a maximum, or a top secret birthday celebration. Flexibility is our ethos. Experience tells us is that you cannot put a price on initiative and resourcefulness. Our clients are so diverse that we have to be ready for anything, be it creating a menu for seven different special diets in the same sitting to accommodating the last minute surprise guests. And finally, if we just don’t think we can pull it off, we will tell you well in advance.
Health, Safety & Standards
All our staff are trained food handlers holding certificates in Food Hygiene level 3 and 4 and HACCP. Guerilla Gourmet holds employers and public liability insurance up to £10,000,000 and £1,000,000.
What We Do








Private Dinner Parties
A minimum of 8 guests, to as many as you can comfortably fit in your home, or a location that we can operate (cook and serve) from, we excel at dinner parties. This is a time for you to entertain without the hard work. Together we customise a memorable occasion for your guests. The level of our involvement is totally flexible, so you can really relax and leave it all to us, or be more hands on and just go for our consultation service, where literally, you can utilise the experience and guidance of a professional chef to do it yourself. This is a great way to learn new dishes for the foodie host and to involve your friends and family in the whole presentation of your menu and the food being served. Or you can go all out and have us provide everything from tables and chairs, linen, crockery and glassware, serving staff, flowers, wine, cocktail bar, outdoor garden dining furniture, Hammocks, tree mobiles and cooking and serving equipment, all served inside a stunning Maharaja’s tent etc. The attention to detail is what makes us stand out from other caterers.
Studio/Location Catering
We create food with your happiness as the main priority. Day to day lunches and dinners needn’t be dull fuel stops. We can put together menu’s and options to keep your palate inspired, impress your guests or just liven up your lunch break. All bookings are made with an in depth consultation to get an idea as to what everyone wants, needs, expects, without anything being taken for granted.
If you don’t want the fussiness of this consultation, we can offer you our pre-conceived menus created with consideration to a generally balanced, healthy diet according to the popularity of dishes. You can simply opt for a light, lo-carb, high energy option, or you can take our extravagant option with plenty of delicious surprises tucked into your day, week or month long menu concept.
Because we are there for the length of your project, be it recording your 2nd platinum selling record or shooting your award winning photography collection, we will personally craft a client profile to your needs so you know in the future you can rely on us remembering every small detail such as your drummers wheat intolerance or your set designers fear of tomatoes.
International Tour Catering
We offer our brand of personalised catering as a self contained bolt-on aspect to your tour. Whether in a field in Somerset, or up a mountain in Tibet we give you a consistently high standard of nutrition and reliably hygienic food preparation, essential to making your show a success and a pleasure for all your crew and artists. Our outgoing team will essentially be part of your tour crew family (the ‘mum’ role) feeding you what you really want to eat when you need it most.
We will always source the freshest and best local ingredients so you get to taste the region you are in… and of course have a supply of the comfort food that you would normally miss the most. The catering logistics we can offer ranges from a two chef team with basic field catering equipment to a customised 18 ton mobile catering unit equipped to cater for up to 200 people per sitting.

Our range of ideas for special parties is limitless. Depending on your budget; we have some very experienced design and events consultants to create an unforgettable bash.
Mobile Cocktail Bars
Depending on the size of your event, we offer drinks services that take your party to a different level. From hiring one of our professional bartenders, drinks and glassware, to an entire underlit cocktail bar which is built on site, a bespoke menu of cocktails, staff and glassware especially for your event. We also have flair bartenders and cocktail waitress’ available if desired.
Professional Set Design
We work with Nicola Yeoman – an artist and professional set designer. Known best for creating the set of Jay-Z’s latest album cover ‘The Blueprint 3’ and her work with Vogue and Wallpaper magazine.

Some fantastic Weddings, Garden Parties and Birthday Celebrations around London and Cambridge.
Microfest 2011: This Summer Microsoft UK hosted a huge party in the style of a British Music festival at their Reading Campus. Guerilla Gourmet were requested to take care of the catering for 1300 people with partners Sweet and Chilli hosting the fabulous cocktail bars. We put on an extravaganza of gourmet festival treats in a purpose built food tent bazaar for the crowds to graze through as the day unfolded:
World soul food was on offer from Jamaican Jerk Chicken BBQ’d in giant jerk pans on site. Valencian Paella, Authentic South Indian Dosa, Slow roast pork, Mexican taco stall, Brindisa Chorizo Rocket Rolls, Gourmet Burgers, Steak and ale pie and mash, Butternut Squash & Goats cheese tarts. Falafels and Vegeburgers, a giant fresh Salad bar and fresh Juices. Then an array of desserts and treats; from freshly made Brazilian cinnamon Churros, amazing frozen yoghurt with berries and granola, Chocolate Crepes, plus a specially styled Candy tent with old fashioned pick n mix, candy floss and ice cream cones . We used biodegradable palm leaf disposable plates for most dishes from the Whole leaf company. Guerilla Gourmet staff plated over 5000 serves for the hungry masses to the funky sounds of the Cuban Brothers and Bjorn Again.
